Re-useable waterproof hand cast and dressing protector that can be used while in the bath or showering. Quick and easy to put on. Will last for approximately 2 months.
This product is a comfortable, easy-to-use, self sealing protector which can be submerged.
There is a cellular neoprene seal which has a wide band of contact and therefore does not pinch the skin or feel constrictive whilst the main body is of a pliable waterproof material and is roomy and slip resistant.
The product is British designed and manufactured, with patents for design and manufacturing process granted or in process.
Initially designed for Orthopaedic use to protect plaster or synthetic casts it rapidly became clear that the product had wider applications in the wound area, where the non-contact nature of the main body of the product made it particularly suitable where any pressure on the wound was undesirable.
We recommend that these hand protectors are only used for 20 to 25 minutes at a time. Because they are airtight, the cast or dressing can become quite warm, causing sweating.

Using when swimming:
Using a LimbO when swimming may restrict some movement. Please ensure your safety by staying within your depth, and being accompanied.
We recommend the LimbO is used for not more than 20 to 25 minutes, when swimming, at a time because it is airtight. This can cause the cast or dressing to get quite warm and sweating under the cast particularly could cause discomfort.
